Aesthetic Mood Board

To start this project, I created a mood board to express my personal design aesthetic. This allowed me to examine colors and graphic elements I wanted to include in my branding.

Design Inspiration & Research

I created a concept board based off of research on brand identity suites. This allowed me to clarify my vision for my personal branding. I knew I wanted clean, minimalistic typography and a sense of spontaneity through the color palette.

Color Story

I proceeded by creating a color story for my branding suite. I chose a mix of pastels and bold colors to express a softness and unexpectedness.

Key Words

I brainstormed Key Words that were meaningful to my identity and who I am as a designer. This helped me define the core essence of my creative agenda.

Brand Concept Statement

This expresses my relationship to fashion and why I am drawn to the industry. The statement helped inform how I wanted to present myself professionally to the world.

Typeface Hierarchy

I laid out different typeface combinations and how they would systematically be used throughout my branding suite.

Initial Logo Sketches

To come up with my personal logo, I did various sketches, playing around with my initials and full name.

Final Primary Logo Designs

I settled on some final logo designs, including two different colorways. I felt these were minimalistic with whimsical color combinations.
